Wednesday, 9/18/2019: Foothills of Kilimanjaro to Forest Ridge

After a final gear check and climb briefing, the group will drive to the trail head where the trekking adventure officially begins!

The duffle bag so carefully packed at home will be weighed to make sure that it does not exceed 33lbs, as it will be carried throughout the trek by a member of the porter team.
